WWE 2k18 Coming to Nintendo Switch

WWE is making its return to Nintendo.

For the first time in five years, WWE is making its return to a Nintendo Console.

In an announcement video with WWE superstar and cover-athlete Seth Rollins, WWE 2K18 is officially coming out to the Nintendo Switch. The press release was updated shortly after with the Switch version have a “Fall 2018” release window, where the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch on October 17th.

WWE 2K18 is the first title from the series in five years that’s coming to a Nintendo console.

The last mainline WWE game to make its way to a Nintendo system was WWE 2K13 in 2012 for the Wii U.  Players can still expect to see the same features available across all three platforms.  The more notable additional features include:  MyCareer Mode, updated customization options, and the largest roster to date in any WWE game.

If you’re all-in on the upcoming WWE title, you may want to look at getting a pre-order in, as the reservation bonus will get you access to Kurt Angle as part of your playable roster.  Anyone who pre-orders either the deluxe and collector’s editions will be able to play the game four days ahead of the official release.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is a pre-order bonus for WWE 2K18.

If you’re wondering how Nintendo is going to able to an deliver an experience parallel to that of its more powerful competitors, no worries.  The Nintendo Switch version of WWE 2K18 will be using a separate rendering engine for the game, which will allow the game to still be able to have all the features, and let the system function without any underlying issues.
