With over 45+ games available from The Vault, EA Access’s newest update brings some great content, both now and in the near future.
In this month’s July update, EA Access subscribers can now play through all four expansion packs from 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront. Previously, only the original multiplayer maps from the game were available, and it seems that EA is gearing people up for the sequel releasing this November.
If you’re not in the market for Star Wars, the rest of the summer still looks promising. Two of last year’s biggest first person shooters, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2, will be making their way into the Access library by September. Both titles have received positive reception for the respective risks they’ve taken, from Battlefield going back to the brutal World War 1 era to Titanfall’s debut of a single player campaign.
On top of full use of eligible titles, EA Access gives users the ability to test out upcoming titles ahead of their official release. This includes the annualized franchises of Madden, FIFA, NHL, and the returning NBA Live that will be open for Play First Trials in the next couple of months.
Additionally, Oxenfree, Rebel Galaxy, and The Sims 4: Digital Deluxe Edition are also available now with the new update.
If you want to get your hands on some popular AAA titles from the past couple years, EA Access will run you either $4.99 / month or $29.99 / year. On top of the current catalog and early trials to upcoming games, EA offers a 10% discount on all EA-related content to subscribers on Xbox One.
